Jessica Stojkovski Member for Kingsley, Emily Hamilton Member for Joondalup and Mark Folkard Member for Burns Beach have committed to local girls basketball team, the Joondalup Wolves under 14’s Girls team as they gear up for the 2017 National Championships in Melbourne later this year.

In October the U/14 Girls basketball team, The Joondalup Wolves will embark on a journey to Melbourne in the hopes of success at the National Touring Competition.

It is a very exciting opportunity for the girls to further their sporting ambitions and their qualification is indicative of their hard work and dedication over the season. Consequently the team is embarking on a fundraising drive to finance their trip’s cost, which included sausage sizzles, chocolate drives and quiz nights.

This evening, Mrs Stojkovski and Mr Folkard presented a cheque of $300 to the team at the Joondalup Basketball Stadium. The cheque was a combined donation from Jessica Stojkovski Member for Kingsley, Emily Hamilton Member for Joondalup and Mark Folkard Member for Burns Beach.

Mrs Stojkovski has also donated a lunch at Parliament House to auction off for the teams fundraising efforts.
